• Work Direction: Provides work direction to Level 1 and 2 staff to effectively complete work in accordance with time and quality standards.
• Materials Receipt: Receives materials into the warehouse and coordinates with quality control and end users to conduct inspections to confirm compliance with requirements, when necessary.
•Location Evaluation: Understanding material type and determining location within established zoning and allocation guidelines to ensure optimal storage conditions to meet requirements and facilitate recovery.
• Issue of Materials: Facilitates issuance of duly authorized requisitions to meet the requirements of end users, ensuring feedback to them if issue is not possible due to prior commitment or stock shortage.
• Physical Inventory Program: Participates in the annual and ongoing physical inventory program to verify accuracy and completeness of data records and to assist in identifying and correcting anomalies.
• Systems and Equipment Operation: Operates materials handling equipment/systems to facilitate movement/recording of warehouse materials, ensuring all standard operating procedures are observed and equipment/systems are properly maintained.
• Process Improvement: Reviews current procedures and processes to identify opportunities to improve warehouse operations.
• Activity Reports: Completes accurate and comprehensive activity reports for more senior staff to monitor work progress.
• Customer Focus: Develops an awareness of the need to deliver against agreed service standards to meet customer expectations.
