Oversees and administers the operations of a store. Receives, identifies and verifies delivered/purchased merchandise.
Maintains a well-updated inventory of all company assets.
Competently use an inventory management software.
Prepares purchase requisitions for stock replacement, as needed/required.
Contacts and make claims to merchandise providers for any damage or unsatisfactory state of items delivered/purchased.
Maintains files appropriate to the activities of the department such as delivery notes, order numbers, receiving copes, shipment dates and prepares reports for such activities for monitoring.
Communicates with other departments with orders of such merchandise and properly receive merchandise on behalf of requesting department and deliver the items to concerned departments accordingly.
Handles with proper care and knowledge of specific items that can pose HSE hazard such as combustible, toxic and fragile item including its rapid deterioration and contamination of items, etc.
Arranges stock according to QHSE standards and established procedures.
Can swiftly act and provide replacement of outdated and out-of-stock items and suggest available substitutes in the store.
Monitors, controls and carries out the lending and renting of various tools, equipment's, vehicles, furnishings and other items available and kept in store and to ensure all these items are kept in good condition and repaired or replaced immediately, as necessary.
Oversees the prompt delivery of items within the established schedule and coordinates special delivery, when required, with necessary details to departments concerned.
Maintains equipment and other instruments.
Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness according to good housekeeping standards of work areas and entire store.
Can competently use necessary equipment in handling, shifting or moving various materials such as forklift, hydraulic platform, hand truck, etc.
Has the capability to use office equipment also such as computer, fax machine, photocopier, etc.
