Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Tech Lead to head our IT department and drive the development and execution of our technical strategies. As the Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the team in delivering innovative and scalable solutions, managing the IT ecosystem, and collaborating with other departments to achieve operational excellence. This leadership role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic vision, and the ability to mentor and guide teams to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy: Lead the IT department in delivering secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions. Drive the adoption of best practices in software architecture, security, and performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to ensure that IT goals align with broader business objectives, optimizing resources and delivering impactful results.
- Mentorship & Team Development: Provide technical guidance to team members, conduct regular code reviews, and mentor junior developers to ensure continuous learning and high-quality outputs.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, task allocation, and delivery milestones, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet business expectations.
- IT Policy & Standards: Define, enforce, and continuously improve IT policies, security protocols, scalability strategies, and compliance standards to ensure the integrity of systems and data.
- Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of emerging technologies, research new tools and frameworks, and make recommendations to enhance productivity and technological innovation across the department.
Technical Requirements:
- Software Development Expertise:
- Mastery of modern programming languages and frameworks with hands-on experience in the MERN Stack (ReactJS, Redux, NextJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS) and TypeScript.
- Strong background in Object-Oriented Programming, Microservice Architecture, and Agile Development practices.
- DevOps & Infrastructure:
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows (Git-Flow) and version control systems like Bitbucket and GitHub.
- Database Management:
- Proficiency in working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and other database technologies.
- Scalability & Security:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient IT infrastructures.
- Ability to implement advanced security measures, ensuring data protection and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a leadership role with a proven track record of managing IT teams and successfully delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience (10+ years of relevant expertise can substitute for formal education).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
