THT Operator (Operator Level)

Position Overview

The THT Operator is responsible for executing backend processes like Selective soldering, X-ray, De-paneling and Conformal coating, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This role requires hands-on expertise in Manual Insertion, Component Preforming and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to identify and escalate technical issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Materials preparation based on product requirements.

• Perform THT component preforming and manual insertion process as per standard.

• Execute Selective Soldering process and perform visual inspection.

• Execute PCBA handling with pallet and magazines.

• Execute inline X-ray process and confirm the defects with review station.

• Execute Conformal coating process, UV visual inspection and manual touch up.

• Execute de-paneling of PCBA and replace the router bit frequently as per standard.

• Apply and interpret pass/fail criteria with a high degree of accuracy.

• Identify, document, and escalate defects, abnormalities, and non-conformances.

• Maintain accurate test records and ensure traceability of results.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Ensure compliance with organizational safety, quality, and operational standards.
