Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensure the smooth and successful operation of YMCs sporting facilities while prioritizing safety and enhancing the overall event experience.
• Track safety: Prioritize and ensure the safety of participants, officials, and spectators during motorsport events by developing and implementing effective safety protocols, conducting risk assessments and inspections, coordinating with authorities, overseeing officiation and race control and preparing for emergencies.
• Track operations: Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the track, facilities and infrastructure during events by managing scheduling, maintenance, and facility operations, optimizing track conditions, overseeing infrastructure maintenance, and enhancing the overall participant experience.
• Motorsport: Produce all necessary documentation and lead sporting planning for motorsport events (e.g. Rules & Regulations, Safety Plans, Timetables, Briefings, allocations, E-permits, internal department requirements etc.)
• Formula 1: Lead planning and preparation of trackside elements, infrastructure and technology ensuring compliance with FIA homologation. Coordinate and ensure timely completion of facility upgrades and other works requested in F1 Post-Event reports from FIA and F1.
• Team management: Create a high-performing and motivated team, ensuring that they are well supported and have the necessary skills and resources to deliver.
