Job Objective: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods pertaining to Catering. The role focuses on maintaining accuracy in inventory, optimizing workflow, ensuring safety compliance, and leading warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and within required timelines
Plan and allocate resources to meet operational demands and delivery schedules
Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and workflow
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
Oversee receiving of goods and verify against purchase orders and delivery documents
Ensure quality and quantity checks are conducted upon receipt
Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies to relevant departments
Ensure proper documentation and system updates for received items
Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system
Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock audits
Ensure proper stock rotation methods (FIFO/FEFO) are followed
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variance
Ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of goods for dispatch
Coordinate with logistics/transport teams for timely delivery
Supervise warehouse staff and assign daily tasks based on priorities
Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, racks, etc.)
