The successful candidate will examine patients, diagnose common illnesses, and administer or prescribe appropriate treatment. Excellent communication skills are essential to address patients' health-related queries and provide reassurance when needed.General Practitioner Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient assessments, documenting findings and updating medical records as necessary.- Monitor patients' conditions regularly, reporting changes to consultants and documenting in progress notes.- Provide around-the-clock medical care for inpatients, including responding to emergencies and collaborating with consultants.- Communicate effectively with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.- Administer medications and orders diagnostic tests as directed by consultants.- Document patient interactions, including prescriptions, test results, and treatment plans.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to clinical policies and procedures.- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.- Stay current with emerging medical techniques, procedures, and therapies through ongoing education and training.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.- Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication with patients, families, and colleagues.- Comply with Clinical policies, protocols, and procedures, ensuring a safe and effective work environment.
