We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive System Engineer to join our IT team. The idealcandidate will have a strong foundation in IT systems administration with a specific focus onQualys VMDR platform, Active Directory (AD) administration, and Windows Servermanagement. The role involves maintaining, supporting, and optimizing IT systems whileensuring security, reliability, and compliance with organizational policies.Key Responsibilities:1. Qualys VMDR Platform Management and Patching• Administer and configure the Qualys Vulnerability Management, Detection, and Response (VMDR) platform.• Perform regular vulnerability scans, analyse reports, and provide actionable remediationrecommendations.• Manage patching through Qualys to ensure timely application of security patches andupdates.• Monitor the effectiveness of the vulnerability management and patching processes toensure compliance with security standards.• Collaborate with IT and security teams to address identified vulnerabilities and patchingneeds promptly.2. Active Directory (AD) Administration• Manage and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including user account creation,group policy management, and permissions administration.• Troubleshoot and resolve AD-related issues to ensure seamless user access andauthentication.• Ensure the security of the AD environment by implementing best practices andmaintaining audit logs.3. Vmware and Windows Server Administration• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management for vCenter, ESXi and Windows Servers.• Monitor server performance and ensure high availability and reliability.• Troubleshoot server-related issues and coordinate with other IT teams for resolution.• Assist in server deployments, upgrades, and configurations as per organizational needs.• Perform OS upgrades and firmware upgrades according to internal policies andtimelines4. General System Administration• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for system-related incidents and service requests.• Monitor and manage system alerts, logs, and performance metrics.• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for IT systems.• Assist in the implementation of new IT initiatives and projects.Qualifications:Education:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field(preferred).Experience:• 4-5 years of relevant experience in systems administration, including:o Qualys VMDR or similar vulnerability management tools.o Active Directory and Group Policy management.o Windows Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Certifications (Preferred):• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-800/801).• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.• Qualys Certified Specialist or relevant Qualys training.Skills and Competencies:• Strong understanding of IT security and vulnerability management principles.• Hands-on experience with patch management tools and processes.• Proficiency in troubleshooting system and network issues.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, batch scripts) is a plus.

Facility Management & Fleet Management (Company owned and hired vehicles).Organize and coordinate company events and meetings, fostering a collaborative atmosphere while ensuring all logistics are efficiently handled.Prepare various documentation such as reports, presentations, memos, and e-mails as required by the Manager/Head of Section or team members to ensure that well written, consistent, accurate and timely documentation originates from the Manager/Head of Section ’s officeAssist in the development of strategic plans, providing administrative insights that align with the organization’s long-term goals.Mentor and develop administrative team members, fostering a culture of professional growth and accountability within the department.
