Provide training and education to food handlers, employees, and the public on food safety practices, environmental health issues, and relevant regulations.Review and approve plans for new food establishments and renovations, ensuring compliance with building codes, food safety standards, and environmental regulations.Maintain detailed records of inspections, investigations, and enforcement actions, and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.Stay up-to-date on current food safety and environmental health regulations, scientific advancements, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with QHSE regulations and standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.Develop and deliver training programs on health, safety, environmental practices, and quality management to engage employees and foster a safety culture.Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures to enhance workplace safety.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of QHSE policies, procedures, and compliance records to support regulatory requirements and internal audits.Collaborate with management to establish safety objectives and performance metrics, tracking progress and reporting outcomes to stakeholders.Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, ensuring the organization remains compliant with local, national, and international QHSE regulations.Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for potential crises and minimize risks to personnel and property.Promote a proactive approach to environmental sustainability, recommending practices that reduce waste and enhance resource efficiency.Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations, continuously improving QHSE practices based on best practices and lessons learned.
