JOB SPECIFICATIONSenior Process Engineer (Engineering) Qualification : Degree in Chemical Engineering. Experience : Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Process Engineering at the various stages of green-field and brown-field projects from Feasibility Study, Conceptual Design, to FEED, EPIC and Commissioning Support. Experience in design optimization with commercial competitiveness and technical reliability. Design experience in various kinds of Plant and Process facilities such as Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Refinery, Waste Water Treatment, and Utilities. Shall be conversant with Equipment Selection, Hydraulic Studies (Process Simulation), Transient Analysis, and the preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, Process Design Basis, Line and Equipment Sizing Calculations, Pressure Safety and Relief Valve Calculations, Blowdown Calculations, Process Data sheets, Cause and Effect Matrix, Commissioning Procedure, Operating & Control Philosophy, Scope of Work Document related to Process scope, and preparation of Split of Responsibilities Matrix between Consultant and Contractor. Shall have experience in the Process Engineering of both Onshore and Offshore projects. Shall have additional experience in Technical HSE (Loss Prevention) and Safety Studies (HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, Bow-Tie Analysis, SIL, LOPA, etc.). Shall work in accordance with established procedure and specialized technical standards. Should be conversant with API, ASME, NFPA and Shell DEP standards. Shall lead co-ordination with Client, Engineering Consultant and Vendors on technical issues. Work Environment: 75 % in the office; 25 % in the site (plant environment). Safety : Safety Training and complete awareness of safety requirement in Oil and Gas industry. Computer Literacy: Shall be skilled in the use of PC. Software Skills : Skilled in the use of software such as HYSYS, PIPESIM / PIPENET, FLARENET and in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
