Financial Record-Keeping:· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for import and export transactions, including invoices, bills of lading, shipping documents, and customs declarations.· Ensure proper categorization and documentation of expenses, revenues, and other financial activities related to agriculture import/export operations.Accounts Payable and Receivable:· Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations for goods and services related to agriculture imports and exports.· Manage accounts receivable processes, invoicing clients, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.Inventory Management:· Monitor and reconcile inventory levels for agricultural products involved in import/export operations, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.· Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to reconcile inventory discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Financial Reporting:· Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the financial performance of agriculture import/export activities.· Generate ad-hoc financial reports as required by management or regulatory authorities.Tax Compliance and Reporting:· Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements related to agriculture import/export transactions, including VAT, customs duties, and other taxes.· Prepare and submit tax filings, declarations, and other regulatory reports accurately and on time.
