Accountant Required for Coffee Shops and Restaurants – JeddahWe are looking for an experienced and skilled accountant to work full-time in the field of coffee shops and restaurants, based in Jeddah – Al-Hamra district, where the main office is located.Conditions and Requirements:Previous experience in accounting within the coffee shop and restaurant sector.Proficiency in working with the Xero accounting software.Familiarity with delivery systems and their operational procedures.Ability to review and reconcile accounts accurately.Reviewing customer accounts.Submitting tax returns.Availability to start immediately.Preparation of financial statements.Coordination with accounting offices to prepare audited financial statements.Main Responsibilities:Periodically inventory and review branch accounts.Monitor cash flow and ensure the integrity of financial transactions.Prepare monthly financial reports and track expenses and revenues.Review bank statements and branch accounts.Reconcile invoices and accounting documents and archive them regularly.Monthly Quarterly and Yearly Financial Statement PresentationReview delivery applications (Hunger Station, Jahez, ToYou, Kita, etc.).SkillsStrong Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide actionable insights for improving financial performance.Attention to Detail:Precise attention to detail in reviewing financial records, transactions, and ensuring accuracy in reporting.Time Management:Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as managing branch accounts, preparing financial reports, and reviewing invoices, all while meeting deadlines.Problem-Solving:Capacity to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise in financial transactions, tax filings, or reconciliation.Communication Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with branch managers, delivery platforms, and accounting offices.Adaptability:Ability to adapt to new technologies, software, and delivery systems as the industry and tools evolve.Knowledge of Local Tax Laws:Familiarity with Saudi tax regulations, including VAT, and experience in filing tax returns in compliance with local standards.Experience with Financial Forecasting:Ability to assist in budgeting and forecasting to help ensure the financial stability and growth of the business.Familiarity with Restaurant Costing:Understanding of how to calculate food cost, labor cost, and other restaurant-specific financial metrics to ensure profitability.Team Collaboration:Ability to work closely with the management team, restaurant staff, and external auditors to ensure smooth financial operations.Integrity and Confidentiality:Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and discretion.Customer-Oriented Approach:Experience in reviewing customer transactions, handling discrepancies, and maintaining good relationships with clients or stakeholders.Experience in Auditing:Experience with internal audits or coordinating with external auditors for the preparation of annual financial statements.
