The Investment Manager is responsible for developing strategies for managing the portfolio of investments, including meeting with fund managers, preparing, and reporting on the analysis of investments and investment strategies to the Company’s Senior Management & the Board of Investment Committee.Duties/Responsibilities:Ensure the investment portfolio is in conformity to the Investment Asset Distribution prescribed by the Financial Regulations for Insurance CompaniesMonitor the performance of company’s portfolio of Shares & Bonds on a frequent basis & regularly appraise and submit recommendations to Senior Management.Evaluate investment strategies / processes and make recommendations to the Senior Management & the Board of Investment Committee.Identify portfolio additions / fund selection / asset allocations & reallocations that optimize management of risk and long-term returns.Prepare / Provide concise Investment analyses and reports for the Senior Management & the Board of Investment CommitteeUndertaking research on investment trends and due diligence on various investment ideas / proposals for equities, bonds, funds using valuation techniques.Liaise with Asset Managers, Investment banks, custodians and fund administratorsPerforms other related duties as assigned.

This includes all regulatory exposures of NGI.Design and maintain reminder and completed triggers for each compliance tasks.Lead the implementation of the GRC solution for NGIUndertake FATCA and CRS reportingReview policy and procedures of each department to ensure updating and compliance to the policy.Maintain good professional contact with all departments and liaise with the Departmental heads in compliance activity keeping with timelines and quality of content.Fills out and files compliance submissions as periodically advised by the regulatory authorities.Consults with attorney and other consultants on compliance related advisory required.Responsible for the AML and compliance risk management tool performance and relationship with the TP vendor in coordination with AML officer.Oversee review of specialty business AML review like Energy and Coface.Drive GRC deliverables from the Compliance perspective as a project. Align with Legal, Risk and Audit in due delivery of this project.Supervise junior team members assigned to engagements providing guidance and overall review of deliverables.Undertake data quality review and address gaps immediately.Undertake CPD’s with specific focus on Insurance related or risk related certifications.
