Job Description:

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist with a Mechanical Engineering background to handle sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management for mechanical components. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, procurement expertise, and technical knowledge of mechanical parts and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement and sourcing of mechanical components, equipment, and materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best pricing and quality.
• Review technical specifications, blueprints, and requirements to ensure accurate procurement.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams for procurement planning.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement reports.
• Work closely with the engineering, production, and finance teams to align procurement needs with project requirements.
• Assist in resolving supplier issues, delays, or quality concerns effectively.
