Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating manual lathe machines in a machine shop environment and possess strong precision machining skills. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain manual lathe machines to fabricate and modify metal parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining.
• Set up workpieces, adjust machine speeds, and select appropriate cutting tools.
• Perform precision machining operations, including turning, threading, boring, and facing.
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to achieve production goals.
