Open Job Position – BIM Modeler

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler (MEP or Arch) to join our team in the UAE. The BIM Modeler will be responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models of various building systems using BIM software, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D models of architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems using BIM software.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate integration of building systems into overall project models.
• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Produce detailed drawings and documentation from the 3D models for construction and installation purposes.
• Ensure that all models and drawings comply with UAE building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct regular quality checks and reviews of models to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including permits, applications, and construction documents.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date library of models, drawings, and related documents.
• Provide technical support and assistance to project teams during construction phases.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in BIM software, and best practices in BIM modeling.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of BIM principles, building codes, and construction techniques.
• Excellent technical skills in modeling, drawing production, and detailing.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate models.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations and standards is preferred.
• UAE driving license is a plus.
