MEP BIM Modeling:Develop accurate and detailed BIM models for MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) using Revit and other BIM software. Model HVAC systems, electrical conduits, plumbing lines, fire protection systems, and other MEP components in compliance with design specifications.
Clash Detection and Coordination:Perform clash detection for MEP systems and coordinate with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to resolve clashes. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure MEP systems integrate seamlessly into the overall building model.
Model Management:Update and maintain MEP models based on design changes, engineering revisions, and site adjustments. Ensure models are compliant with project standards, specifications, and BIM protocols.
MEP Documentation:Extract detailed 2D drawings, layouts, and sections from the BIM models for construction documentation. Prepare schedules, bill of materials, and other technical documents related to MEP systems based on model data.
Support Project Execution:Assist in the coordination and planning of MEP systems during construction phases by providing accurate and up-to-date models to field teams. Provide technical support for any model-related issues during the construction process.
Adherence to BIM Standards:Ensure MEP models comply with relevant BIM standards, industry best practices, and company guidelines. Follow BIM execution plans and ensure all MEP elements are correctly modeled and coordinated.
Collaboration:Work closely with MEP engineers, architects, contractors, and other BIM coordinators to ensure project goals are met. Participate in coordination meetings to address model discrepancies and ensure effective communication across disciplines.
Quality Control and Review:Perform regular quality checks on MEP models to ensure accuracy, compliance with design intent, and adherence to company standards. Identify and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies in MEP systems and recommend solutions for improvement.
BIM Data Management:Maintain proper version control and documentation for MEP models and related data. Ensure all model revisions and updates are appropriately logged and shared with relevant stakeholders.
