The Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing all commercial activities related to the sale and purchase of materials and products within the Lead plant.
Shall be responsible for:
o Develop and execute the commercial strategy to maximize revenue and market share across the globe.
o Identify new business opportunities and build strong, long-term relationships with customers across these regions.
o Oversee customer inquiries, quotations, and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability goals.
o Manage the sales process from initial contact through to the completion of sales, ensuring timely delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction in each region.
o Monitor sales performance, market trends, and regional developments, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior management.
o Adapt sales strategies to each market’s unique demands, including local pricing, cultural considerations, and logistics challenges.
o Oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials, equipment, and services for the plant’s operations, with a focus on optimizing regional supply chains.
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and ensuring favorable terms and reliable delivery.
o Negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and contracts, focusing on cost savings while addressing regional supply constraints or opportunities.
o Adapt procurement strategies based on regional market fluctuations, tariffs, and customs regulations.
o Collaborate with the finance and logistics teams to ensure the timely procurement of materials across global markets, minimizing supply chain disruptions.
o Forecast material demands based on production schedules and regional sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
o Must have strong contacts in the lead scrap and raw material procurement sector across key regions.
o Experience in lead battery recycling, secondary lead sourcing, and value-added lead products.
o Building strong supplier network for raw material purchase while creating a optimal customer base for Lead ingots, alloys and value added products.
