Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain high standards of food hygiene, and ensure the kitchen is kept clean and orderly. Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients and executing recipes under the supervision of senior chefs. Ensure portion control and presentation standards.
• Support Kitchen Operations: Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver timely, high-quality dishes, helping to maintain workflow during peak hours.
• Maintain Hygiene and Safety Standards: Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines, keeping workstations clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: Help with stock rotation, checking the freshness of ingredients, and notifying senior chefs of low stock items.
• Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions and learn various cooking techniques to enhance your culinary knowledge.
• Equipment Use and Maintenance: Use kitchen equipment safely and ensure it is cleaned and properly maintained.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Culinary school or relevant hospitality certifications are an advantage.
• Skills: Basic cooking and knife-handling skills, ability to follow recipes, and a willingness to learn.
• Physical Stamina: Able to work long shifts and perform tasks requiring physical effort, such as standing for extended periods.
• Team Player: Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and good communication skills.
• Attention to Detail: A commitment to quality and precision in food preparation.
