Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Temporary Recruiter to join our team for a 3-month period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hiring blue-collar workers and will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle to meet the staffing needs of our organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Job Posting and Advertising:
    • Create and post job advertisements on various platforms to attract blue-collar candidates.
    • Utilize social media, job boards, and other channels to reach potential candidates.
  2. Candidate Sourcing:
    • Proactively source and identify blue-collar candidates through various methods, including databases, job fairs, and community outreach.
    • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates.
  3. Screening and Shortlisting:
    • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
    • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates' skills, experience, and suitability for the position.
  4. Interview Coordination:
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Prepare candidates for interviews by providing information about the company and the role.
  5. Selection and Hiring:
    • Assist in conducting interviews and evaluating candidates.
    • Provide recommendations for hiring decisions.
    • Manage the offer process, including salary negotiations and contract preparation.
  6. Onboarding Support:
    • Coordinate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
    • Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed.
  7. Compliance and Record-Keeping:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports.
  8. Candidate Experience:
    • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
    • Communicate regularly with candidates to keep them informed about their application status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, specifically in hiring blue-collar workers.
  • Strong understanding of blue-collar job roles and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-volume recruiting.
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Previous experience in a temporary or contract recruiting role.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a temporary 3-month position, could be converted to permanent based on performance.
  • The role may require occasional travel for job fairs or community outreach events.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular office hours if necessary.
