Description

Logistics Assistant required with experience and knowledge for handling logistics in co-ordination with transport companies.

1. Utilization of dispatch vehicles effectively.

2. Manage the efficiency of the workers.

3. Finished goods stock management.

4. Co-ordinate with transport companies.

5. Arrange dispatches and track the transporter for adherence to the route plan.

6. Despatch the products correctly by checking with the relevant documents.

7. Co-ordinate with the Sales Coordinators for the program of the despatch plan.

8. Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

9. Reducing the cost of Logistics department by focusing on the O/T of drivers by organizing efficiently.

10. Ensuring timely deliveries to all customers to improve the image of the brand/company.

11. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards.

12. Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to optimize supply chain operation.

13. Resolve any issues or discrepancies in shipping or inventory

14. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

15. Track and report on shipment statuses.

16. Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities

17. Assist in optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency

18. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

19. Provide support to the logistics team as needed
