We are looking for a dedicated Material QC Inspector with over 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all materials used in the project comply with the required specifications, standards, and regulations, guaranteeing quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and verify the quality of materials (e.g., pipes, fittings, valves, structural steel) to ensure they meet project specifications, standards (e.g., ASME, API), and client requirements.
• Review and validate material certificates, ensuring all materials have the proper certifications and traceability.
• Monitor and control the storage, handling, and preservation of materials to prevent damage or contamination.
• Conduct regular audits of material deliveries, ensuring correct quantities and compliance with quality standards.
• Liaise with procurement, vendors, and engineers to ensure that the right materials are sourced and comply with project requirements.
• Maintain records of material inspections, certifications, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Ensure that any material-related issues, discrepancies, or non-conformances are promptly addressed and resolved.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during material inspections and handling.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing material submittals, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
