Project Management & Coordination: Oversee the entire construction process of high-rise buildings from project initiation to completion. Coordinate and manage all site operations, ensuring smooth workflow between all involved teams (subcontractors, engineers, architects, etc.). Ensure all safety and quality standards are met on the site, in compliance with legal and industry regulations. Develop and enforce project timelines, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed. Resolve any operational issues that arise during the construction process. Report regularly on project status to senior management and stakeholders.
Resource Management: Lead the planning and execution of material and labor resources for the project. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to avoid wastage, and maintain high productivity on the construction site. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment. Manage the hiring of labor and subcontractors, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and experience.
Budget and Cost Control: Oversee the project budget, ensuring the construction process stays within financial constraints. Monitor daily expenditures and implement cost-control strategies as required. Ensure accurate tracking of expenses and timely billing to clients and contractors. Prepare and review regular financial reports for senior management.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all site activities comply with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations. Develop and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections to ensure safety standards are followed. Prepare and manage documentation for safety audits and inspections. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
Team Leadership & Communication: Lead and manage a team of site supervisors, project coordinators, engineers, and other operational staff. Promote a collaborative work environment by fostering open communication between team members and contractors. Organize regular meetings to review project status, address concerns, and ensure alignment with the project goals. Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving conflicts and issues among team members or contractors.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies. Manage any issues related to delays, unforeseen circumstances, or resource shortages to minimize disruptions. Ensure the project is completed according to specifications without compromising safety, budget, or quality.
