  • The incumbent will communicate directly with vendors and is expected to have good English skills.
  • Energetic and willing to learn, successful Procurement Assistants have good judgment and the ability to interpret policies and procedures.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures.
  • The Procurement Assistant will be responsible for the initiation and follow-up of purchase orders relating to raw materials.
  • Scheduling material purchases, deliveries and verifying current inventory.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • They enjoy analyzing and solving complex problems, and have careful attention to detail.
