JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Senior Procurement Executive/ Procurement Executive is
responsible for overseeing the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of goods and services essential for the
company’s business operations.
This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that all
purchases meet the company’s quality standard, budgetary constraints, and delivery requirements.
The Senior Procurement Executive/ Procurement Executive works closely with various departments to align
procurement activities with the business’s goals and operational needs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
STRATEGY
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s goals and ensure cost-
effective purchasing.
• Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential opportunities and risks in the supply chain
OPERATIONAL
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and reliability and build and
maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier-related issues to ensure continuous supply of
quality products
• Support in negotiating contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for
money
• Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service standards
• Liaise with vendors and service providers, getting approvals from the Manager and ensuring timely
delivery of office services and supplies
• Collaborate with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely
delivery of goods
• Monitor and manage inventory turnover, ensuring that excess inventory and stockouts are minimized.
