Develop, implement, monitor, and improve all production processes and systems.

• Ensure accurate and efficient data collection systems are in place for all processes.

• Ensure day in day out delivery of all production and plant targets.

• Use generated data to make informed decisions, target areas for improvement and eliminate waste.

• Set up and drive a plant wide 5S system.

• Drive LEAN and CI projects and culture throughout the plant.

• Deputise for the Production Supervisors in times of absence.

• Create ISO procedures and Work Instructions for all processes and conduct in-house training and competency checks for all relevant plant staff.

• Work with Quality and HSE departments to maintain accurate training records for all plant staff.

• Ensure all staff adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Assist Production Supervisors in their daily activities by identifying and fixing inefficient processes and systems.

• Carry out Time Studies and Line Balancing exercises on new and existing processes.

• Understand and drive down product cost through process improvement.

• Work with maintenance department to create effective PM tasks and schedules that keep downtime to a minimum.

• Keep up to date with latest trends in technology to ensure our plant is at the cutting edge in terms of capability.

• Lead by example and create a strong teamwork culture in the plant based on positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Show commercial awareness in all of your duties and deliverables.

• Ensure processes and resources are capable to deliver the plant KPI’s.

• Display flexibility in your approach to find the optimal solution for the good of the company.

• Think outside the box to provide management with solutions not questions.

• Use structured problem solving techniques to establish root cause and develop solutions.
