Our newest opportunity is for a talented Project Quality Plan Engineer to join our award winning team in Al Ain, UAE.
Responsibilities
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Contributes to and facilitates best practice QA/QC procedures and develops monitoring programs for inspection, testing, sampling and training.?
- Assists and supports contract administration, quality control and the development / improvement of quality assurance policies and procedures.?
- Assists in the initiation of appropriate QA support, materials and processes for the construction team.?
- Assists with regular audits/surveillance to ensure compliance with procedures.?
- Assists Core Team (Technical) Staff with QA/QC Inspection Procedures in order to meet specifications and overall project quality requirements."?
- Assists in the review of all Contractors quality/testing submissions.?
- Witness of sampling and testing.?
- Monitors the NCR/SOR system.??
- Reviews QA/QC Procedures and document control as submitted by the consultants and contractors and ensures implementation is in compliance with Contracts requirements.?
- Attends activities on site and ensure their compliance with QA/QC procedures Monitors Quality Management Plan implementation through Quality Control procedures and report findings to the Client.
- Manage, administer and maintain records of project wide quality systems implementation.??
- Perform as coordinator and facilitator to ensure Consultants and Contractors implement their quality systems in accordance with the project QA/QC contracts requirements and specifications.??
- To report any Quality issues that might have a counter effect on time or cost of the project in a timely manner.??
- Participates in reviewing Close-Out Report as submitted by Contractors. Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within the organisation, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements.?
- Performing daily monitoring on plant and equipment present on site, including liaising closely with the HSE department for issues of concern.?
- Assisting the PMC operations team with method statement, ITP and material reviews.?
- Participating in punch lists, testing and commissioning monitoring and verification.?
- Providing written weekly and/or ad hoc quality reports to the quality manager and project manager.?
Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 7+ years of relevant experience partnered with Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering. Trained auditor.? P.E.?? Member of Professional Engineering/Quality Institute.
