To identify and source retail business opportunities and achieve assigned retail sales targets of Company products from existing and new customers through managing customer relationships and expectations to meet Company growth objectives and targets
Planning
· Develop effective plans to manage customer relationships, anticipate customer needs and provide tailored solutions to position Company as their financial partner of choice.
· Prepare a call and visit schedule in consultation with the Manager – Direct Sales for selective list of prospects to be targeted.
Business Development
· Build good relationships with potential customers and subsequently develop these into successful, ongoing business relationships to add to Company portfolio of satisfied customers.
· Achieve the retail product targets assigned by the Manager – Direct Sales by managing customer relationships and expectations within the Company policies and guidelines
· Identify and exploit cross-selling opportunities that embed Company and its products with the customer.
· Resolve retail customer complaints quickly and effectively ensuring customer satisfaction while complying with the Company policies and guidelines.
· Review all the retail applications before submitting them to Credit Department.
· Follow up on retail leads from Company Branches, Outlets and Call Centre through customer calls and visits to obtain a better understanding of the customer’s financial needs, check eligibility, provide the required information, and close the sale.
· Continuously follow up all existing and still open customer enquiries to ensure every retail finance opportunity is converted to a long-term customer partnership.
· Submit all customer leads and enquiries and ongoing progress to the Sales Coordinator team for MIS update and processing successful applications.
Marketing
· Give feedback on the impact and cost-effectiveness of Retail promotional materials and marketing activities and suggest improvements as appropriate.
· Support Company marketing efforts to evaluate, develop, launch and promote new Islamic products and services.
· Keep abreast of developments in the local retail banking and financial environment to spot business opportunities.
Coordination
· Maintain contact with Company Branches, Outlets and Call Centre to follow up on retail leads and opportunities.
· Follow up with the departments concerned for any pending or outstanding tasks, analysis or approvals to ensure successful closure of the business opportunity and meeting customer expectations.
