Troubleshoots system errors, perform problem documentation, and recommends solutions to improve the Windows and Linux operating environments.
Develops system tools using appropriate programming languages.
Knowledge in MS Visio & Project, perform project related diagrams and documentations.
Candidate will be part of a Systems & Storage team.
Hands on experience in implementation & management of Server infrastructure, Storage infrastructure, Enterprise Backups, replications, failover/ failback etc.
Hands on experience in implementation & management of virtualized infrastructure like VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV etc.
Hands on experience in implementation & management of VMWare VCF, VSAN, SRM, VMware Horizon etc.
Performs overall Server and Storage Administration, including periodic maintenance, monitoring, and daily support of enterprise storage infrastructure.
Performs ongoing capacity management, proactively manages microcode, firmware, and operating system levels to ensure vendor and security team recommended versions and patches are applied.
Responsible for performance, availability, and scalability of the infrastructure.
Performs and supports problem resolution efforts for infrastructure performance, access/permissions and other concerns across a multi-vendor, multi-datacenter infrastructure.
Support in planning future requirements, trends, and changes to meet existing and future business demands plan, implement and manage Backup/Recovery capabilities.
Perform and Support Recovery Efforts from Native Storage Backup Strategies
Provide technical guidance on management of virtualized environments.
Should have expertise in Windows & Linux Operating Systems
Performs storage server/database transaction and security audits leading to identification and mitigation of security threats to enterprise data.
