Specific Responsibilities The Tax Accountant will be a member of the Company s Tax Department. The role will be primarily responsible for the following: Prepare working papers and supporting documents for all Egyptian Income Taxes filings, including Corporate Income taxes, withholding taxes, VAT, stamp taxes and personal income taxes for the company s various legal entities in Egypt. Handle tax reporting requirements of Egypt s e-tax platform. Handle and coordinate all tax correspondences with relevant parties, including the Egyptian Tax Authority. Liaise and interface with our third-party tax advisors. Respond to tax audits and inspection reports issued by the Egyptian Tax Authority. Monitor the company s E-invoice portal. Prepare tax research as required and stay current on tax laws and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit or tax compliance. Excellent understanding of local tax laws and regulations. Ability to gather and analyze financial data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in both English and Arabic. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. SAP experience preferrable.
