Key Responsibilities 1. Testing & Commissioning Management • Interact regularly with project sponsors and stakeholders, project, and Engineering teams for work packages. • Develop appropriate T&C management strategies for implementing requirements across a broad range of tasks, activities and initiatives. • Conduct T&C management activities such as resource planning, provide technical guidance to T&C engineers, track project T&C milestones, maintain quality assurance processes, and keep the focus on delivering project T&C commitments. • Research and recommend T&C principles, and best practices. • Institute effective project T&C specific processes and procedures. • Coordinate, resolve, or assist in resolution of conflicts and other issues within and between project, engineering, and T&C teams and recommend/provide solutions. • Prepare reports and other associated T&C project and/or program documentation. • Coordinate with the engineering vertical leaders and close any gaps and improve the quality of deliverables. • Interface with Customer and vendors in project critical activities and provide solution and consultancy to complete the project milestone. • Set a development plan for the team and improve the T&C productivity. • Understand technology and Estimation development and analysis. • May perform duties of an Engineering Technical Support Specialist and/or Engineering Systems Support Specialist. • Support the configuration management, information management, test data support, documentation management, integrated logistics support, or quality assurance activities for the T&C team. • Participate in the strategic planning process and provide input into strategic decisions for unit(s) or user group(s) Evaluate and initiate the change processes necessary to enhance T&C activities for project or vertical and gain approval from the EM. • Monitor, control, and manage T&C activities of multiple projects and serve major programs simultaneously. Lead, Hiring and supervising staff. • Support management of projects UAT and handing over. 2. Technical Knowledge • Advanced knowledge in Security, FAS and BMS systems implementation. • Basic knowledge in ICT and network systems implementation. • Extensive experience in CCTV, ACS, KMS, VMS, video analytics. • Good understanding to Honeywell products ex. (DVM, EBI, Prowatch, Maxpro, Niagara, etc.) • Experience in security applications and integration. • Experience in automation systems and PLC. • Experience with telecommunication and intercom systems. 3. Customer Management & Satisfaction • Maintains customers satisfaction at acceptable levels and promptly resolves customer issues. • Build a trusted relationship with the customer and improve the communication channels. • Conducted a weekly meetings or Bi-weekly meeting with the customer to maintain the relation and project dependencies. 4. Engineering Value • Effectively leads the implementation of productivity enhancing process changes related to project T&C. • Controls cost and maximize productivity through the utilization of effective tools, processes, and products. • Ensures the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while maintaining and controlling inventory levels. 5. Estimate and Risk management • Participate in estimate review process prior to jobs or contracts being quoted to ensure T&C labor estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective. Ensure no scope gaps. • Participates in risk review and sales to operations handover meetings for assigned projects and highlight the T&C gaps and risk. • Mitigate the T&C risk and provide risk management plan. • Set a risk register and contain all T&C risks across all projects. 6. Resource Planning • Ensures projects are resourced properly from T&C perspective. Develops effective partnerships with subcontractors to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available. 7. Performance Monitoring Monitor the T&C team performance, providing coaching, training, career planning, development, and reward and recognition for the team to be approved by the EM. 8.Team Building / Communication • Partner with other Project Managers and project directors to ensure that the most effective utilization of resources within the district. • Help to Build an effective team that is committed to organizational goals and fosters collaboration among team members and between teams. • Develops an effective relationship with the Sales and Presales teams so as ensure, effective sales to operations handovers, optimized utilization of resources, maximized pull through of service and projects. 9. Health, Safety and statutory compliance • Ensure applicable local and industry codes and standards are upheld. • Ensures that Honeywell SOPs are adhered to. • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through effective communication, training, equipment/vehicle maintenance and facilities improvement. Manage safety program for assigned Projects within the engineering organization. YOU MUST HAVE • Certified in in one or some of VMS, ACS, FAS and BMS systems. • 10 to15 years experience in a technical management role. • Thorough knowledge of technical Project operations, delivery, and execution. • Demonstrated ability to lead a team. • Ability to manage mega projects. • Advanced Soft & Communications skills.
