The Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in supporting new product development, supplier development, and purchase order management for the assigned region.New Product Development, develop new products to meet the assigned market requirements.Supplier Development, Identify and establish new suppliers for existing products.Purchase Order Management, Finalize and validate purchase orders in SAP for the assigned region.Sales Inquiry Handling, Address sales inquiries for the assigned region.Technical Query Resolution, assist in resolving technical queries raised by customers in coordination with AC Sales.Quote and Sample Follow-Up, Follow up on quotes and samples for the assigned market.SAP Vendor and Item Management, Request the addition of new vendors and items to SAP for the assigned region.Sales Support, Provide sales teams with product COAs, TDS, and MSDS for new products.Supplier Agreements, Work on developing and managing supplier agreements.Payment and Logistics Resolution, resolve payment and logistics issues related to assigned market supplies.ISO Record Maintenance, Maintain ISO records for the supply chain department.

Research and Development:Evaluate and show benefit of promoted products in formulations (solvent borne and waterborne coatings)Benchmarking new products against existing products in coatings.Analytical Testing:Perform routine and non-routine analysis using instruments such as RP-1120, RP-0108, Karl Fisher, Pycnometer, and Chan 35, Viscometer, Glossmeter, spectrophotometerInterpret and analyze data to support product development and ensure quality control.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of experiments, formulations, and test results.Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external use.Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and business developmentProvide technical support and expertise to other departments as needed.Seamlessly coordinate amongst team members to ensure all the members are on the same page technically.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all formulations comply with industry standards and regulations.Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends.
