This role requires a deep understanding of cost analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting. This position requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. The Cost Estimator will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in cost estimation. If you have a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.ResponsibilitiesStudy tender documents and drawings for Preparation of project scope to be estimated and gathering local & international supplier’s proposals, shop drawings, specifications, and related documents.Conduct studies to estimate the overall project cost (i.e. material, labors, administrative expenses) from the revised bill of quantities to determine if a project is profitable and if company should bid for the project.Identification of labor, material, services, technical, supervision, and time requirements through a thorough study of proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.Prepare inquiry submissions and take-offs Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.Assess suppliers and sub-contractors’ quotations to confirm whether the scope is covered and create a table to compare variations quoted prices and specifications.Prepare an estimation proposal by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information of comprehensive costs.Create a realistic cost DATABASE and maintain it by entering data (Vendors & cost) and Keep Updating the Cost from the Local and international Market.Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of the project.Your job involves interiors of buildings, offices, hotels, and retail shops.Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
