Manager - Hose Division
Manager - Hose is required to oversee the operations, sales, and service activities related to hydraulic hoses, piping, fittings, adaptors, and associated accessories for the division. The role requires technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and hoses, along with strong management skills. You will lead and manage the hydraulic hose department, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality service, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a team, and developing strategies to grow the hydraulic hose business. You will ensure that all technical and safety standards are met and will work closely with customers, vendors, and other departments to drive business success.Key Responsibilities:1. Operational Management:• Oversee daily operations of the hydraulic hose department, including manufacturing, assembly, and quality control.• Ensure that all work processes meet quality and safety standards.• Monitor inventory levels and work with suppliers to maintain adequate stock.2. Sales and Business Development:• Develop and implement strategies to increase hydraulic hose sales and expand the customer base.• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying potential new clients.• Conduct market analysis to stay updated on industry trends and customer needs.3. Customer Service:• Address customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.• Ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.• Work closely service teams to provide technical expertise and support.4. Purchase Engineer
· Full responsibility for purchases, suppliers & sub-contractor management, logistics, stores and inventory control.· Sourcing, auditing and approving qualified suppliers and sub-contractors. Maintain and upgrade at regular interval approved list of vendors.· Maintain vendor database, evaluate their performance.· Finalize commercial terms for credit facility, quality and safety standards and on-time delivery requirements.· In association with departments, prepare material forecast and annual budget.· Co-ordination with concerned departments for correct specifications and quality of material required.
