Job requirement:A well-established construction Company located in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Senior/Lead Quantity Surveyor-Civil. The successful candidate must have 8-10 years of UAE experience in infrastructure/Water pipeline/Substation projects. Previous work experience with AADC/DEWA/TRANSCO/ADDC & other government entities will be an advantage.Scope of work:• Take care of the financial and contractual aspects of the project/program.• Audit payments to Contractors. Ensure prompt submittal and completenessof valuations.•Check and record measurements of completed work.•Monitor contracts final cost estimates. Maintain expenditure records.• Proven experience in analyzing contract variations and claims is mandatory.•Experience in contracts engineering under construction supervision projectis a must.•Excellent written contractual correspondence and verbal communicationskills in English.•Must have a clear understanding of, and ability to work with, constructioncontract commercial documents, engineering drawings and specifications,and be qualified to be a QS team leader.•Working knowledge of software typically associated with quantity surveyingand familiarity with typical project controls software such as Primaverascheduling software, Estimate/Schedule, transfer tools, Contract Manager,and DMCS (Document and Materials Control System) is required.
