IT Policy, Process and Standards Manager

Our passenger volumes are on a steady and fast-growing path thanks to an unprecedented facility expansion that enhanced operational capacity and will drive business growth in the next years.About the role:Manage definition, documentation and monitoring of IT policies, processes and standards while ensuring alignment with prevailing industry best practices such as ITIL standards and relevant ISO frameworks. Process gaps are analyzed between as-is and to-be state, gain consensus, and drive recommendations on areas of continual improvements. Ensure processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) established within the department are adhered to, in line with Corporate IT Policies & ISO 20000 standards.Key responsibilitiesEnsure implementation of IT processes and procedures while being aligned with all established Corporate IT policies & relevant ISO standards for services managed by MATAR-IT.Ensure process deployment of new or improved process changes are effective by communicating and liaising with process owners and after due diligence of change impact.Responsible for maintaining ISO 20000 certification of the IT Service Management System (ITSMS) implemented within MATAR-IT. This includes, planning annual audit programs and ensuring regular internal audits are conducted, identified areas of non-compliance are articulated, corresponding corrective action plans are documented and implemented within agreed timelines.Liaise with internal teams and where applicable external suppliers involved in both, projects and operational maintenance of systems to ensure IT Policies, Processes and Procedures are understood, adhered to, and continuously improved.Responsible for conducting Management Review Meetings as per established frequency that span ISO 20000, ISO 27001 and any other frameworks applicable to MATAR-IT. Work with relevant process owners and stakeholders to ensure identified actions are tracked to closure.Ensure Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are regularly reviewed to ensure they are kept up-to-date and relevant to business.Liaise with internal IT service owner(s) and ensure the Service Management Plan, Service Portfolio and Service Catalogue are regularly reviewed and kept up-to-date.Lead investigations into potential compliance violations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are planned and tracked until closure.Keeping abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends, work with relevant teams to implement continuous improvement measures that benefit business while remaining aligned to strategic objectives.

Airfield Operations Officer
As a Airfield Operations Officer, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition:Ensure safe operations at airside by conducting regular inspection and monitoring of the airside particularly the runway, taxiway, aprons and the service roads to ensure the following:Foreign Object Debris (FOD) is managed properly by monitoring, supporting FOD campaigns, initiating removal of FOD when necessary and promoting FOD preventionNo birds or other wildlife hazard are present (bird and wildlife presence is monitored and controlled)Paint markings and signs are visible and correctAirfield lighting and other facilities and equipment are serviceableConduct fault/deficiency reporting by coordinating with the concerning department to ensure that all faults or deficiencies are actually reported and rectification action has been initiatedMonitor compliance to the airside safety driving rules by observing the movement of airside vehicle/equipment and issue traffic citations/penalties for violations to ensure safe/smooth airside operationsDirect the traffic at interactions of service roads with taxiways and in congested and emergency areas by direct the airside drivers in order to ensure a safe maneuvering of the taxiing aircraft.Investigate analyses and submit detailed report including recommended solutions by responding to airside incidents/accidents involving aircraft, vehicles, persons, and properties in order to prevent the recurrence.Escort any unfamiliar vehicle accessing the airside in order to prevent any unsafe situation
Aeronautical Information and Data Manager

Our passenger volumes are on a steady and fast-growing path thanks to an unprecedented facility expansion that enhanced operational capacity and will drive business growth in the next years.About the role:Responsible for a critical operational safety-related function of Airfield Operations, including but not limited to ensuring that all information/data/charts pertaining to the safety of flight and affected by the aerodrome environment, its facilities, systems, procedures or conditions is produced and submitted to QCAA-AIS accurately, error-free and in time for aircraft operators and any other affected operational stakeholders to be of safe use for their own operations. Furthermore, responsible for producing and/or verifying the production of accurate and compliant aeronautical data as per the regulatory requirements of QCAA.Key responsibilitiesManage the accredited contractor who will be hired for aeronautical survey for both airports which comply with regulatory requirements, and accuracy levels and limitations. Responsible for collection, documentation and evaluation of Contractors (Aerodrome Designer / Engineer), Aerodrome Safety Compliance, Airfield Facility Management aeronautical information/data sets in order to facilitate the publication.Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining the Parking Plan Manuals for both Hamad and Doha International airports.Responsible for cartography, managing and production of aeronautical maps.Satisfies the uniformity, accuracy and consistency in the provision of aeronautical information that is required for publication.Ensures that the promulgation of Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs), amendments on AIP (Aerodrome Data Catalogue, Obstacle Data, Geographic Data), AIP Supplements, Aeronautical Information Circulars are efficiently handled for the safety of air traffic.Establishes close liaison with Aeronautical Information Management/Services for managing aeronautical data for publication.Develops and maintains a properly organized quality system containing procedures, processes and resources necessary to implement data quality management.Establish data entry workflow processes to ensure quality and integrity standards are in accordance with business rules for provision of source aeronautical information.Provide technical expertise and problem resolution to senior management in areas relating to Aeronautical Information, i.e. AIPs, NOTAMs.Analyses Aeronautical Information Service/MAP’s (AlS/MAP) problems and provides solutions.Performs accuracy and quality review of Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs), amendments on AIP (Aerodrome Data Catalogue, Obstacle Data, Geographic Data), AIP Supplements, Aeronautical Information Circulars.Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
