Roles and ResponsibilityThe function of Staff Nurse Position is to provide competent, age specific, developmentally, and specialty appropriate nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients/families in accordance with the organization’s approved policies and procedures.Manages and treats patients without the need for hospital admission. Assist the doctor/consultant in examining the patient and other procedures. Provides patient management, transition coordination, discharge planning, and issuance of all appropriate authorizations for covered services as needed for providers and members.Responsible to provide direct and indirect nursing care in the out-patient /In patient care setting; Communicates with physicians, charge nurse and head nurses, ancillary, and support as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, can perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision with the established hospital wide, departmental and unit specific policies and procedures, protocols, etc.

Schedule daily activities by reviewing priorities with supervisor; discussing special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes.Maintains customer relationships by welcoming customers, answering their questions; responding to special requests; describing product features.Maintains store shelves by observing displays of company products; removing damaged or freshness-dated products; tidying store shelves; providing optimum display of products.Maintains inventory by restocking shelves with product from inventory; observing inventory levels; prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low.Helps Sales & Marketing team with special promotions by setting-up displays at aisle ends; checking daily on special promotions; observing customer reaction to special promotions; forwarding observations to management; removing promotions at end of special promotion period.Maintains quality results by following and enforcing standards.Enhances merchandising and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registersScan goods and collect paymentsReconcile cash with the sales, handover & takeover shifts as per company policyIssue receipts, refunds, calculate and convert currencies (as per policy)Redeem Vouchers and couponsMake sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new onesResolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant informationGreet customers when entering or leaving establishmentsMaintain clean and tidy checkout areasKeep reports of transactionsBag, box or wrap packagesPleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfactionDesired Candidate Profile
