Business Development Manager (Corporate Sales)
This role holder is accountable for the expansion corporate remittances and HNI business in line with the organizational strategy. The role holder is expected to run corporate division as a successful revenue stream that generates consistent revenue and profits. He/ she provides guidance to the leadership of this function and develop them in achieving the business objectives/ targets. The role holder must not limit the focus on the total revenue generated, but must constantly explore ways to increase the new revenue generated every year.- Conduct structured and detailed analysis of the market and spot potential customers- Focus on corporate customers who can generate more revenue for the function, and plan sales conversions with them accordingly- Work to attain financial goals assigned for the year.- Develop deep understanding of the industry/ market (competition), service differentiators, etc.- Develop the unique selling proposition and the sales pitch for the product, and orient the business development managers to improve effectiveness of sales conversation.- Maintain constant connects with existing and potential customers.- Develop and implement service differentiation for high-value customers, and improve their overall engagement.- Develop and implement real-time tracking of financial performance at different levels, and depict those numbers against target.- Develop and deepen strong business relationships with the acquired customer to garner more wallet share from the account.- Identify and develop sales campaigns to drive lead generations.- Responsible for addressing & resolving all customer complaints and problems through End-to-End solutions.- Improve efficiencies in the back-end services/ processing by constantly exploring process improvement opportunities that impacts the overall turn-around time.- Constantly be in touch with the branches and extend support in improving business of the assigned branch.- Capture regular customer feedbacks so that constant focus on improvement of service quality is maintained, resulting in better retention of key customers.- Provide clear directions on strategic goals, translating and prioritizing them into business and performance measures to the BDEs- Encourage and reward the desired behaviors among the team staff- Provide on the job guidance/training to the staff to help them reach the desired level of productivity.Educational QualificationMinimum: Any graduateDesired: MBARelevant ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in corporate sales, B2B sales rolesCandidates with financial services experience would be preferredKey BehaviorsRelationship management skillsStrong Business and financial acumenSales focused and good negotiation skillsGood listenerCustomer service skillsKnowledge/ Technical SkillsUnderstanding of the business and Corporate as a functionUnderstanding of financial marketsUnderstanding of basic complianceInternal InterfacesPartnering BanksCentral BankCorporate customersEnd customers (occasionally, for complaints)Finance & AccountsTreasuryBusiness support TeamOperations
