The Designer in the Instrumentation and Control Discipline is primarily concerned with the preparation of Instrumentation engineering drawings, design documents and calculations for projects, tenders and proposals, and to do so as per client requirements, company standards and project scope of work.• Design and drafting of Instrumentation drawings, Material Take-Off and Schedules for a given project. Development of drawings, models and documents listed above using CAD systems. As required for the project or proposal. Output includes:• Input / Output list• Equipment list layout• Control Room Arrangement• Field Instrumentation Location Layouts• Preliminary Cable Tray Routing• Typical Installation Details• Material Take-Offs• 3DModeling of instrumentation and tapping points (offline), Junction Boxes, local panels, etc., for the project.• Loop Diagrams• Termination Diagrams• Detailed Cable/Tray Routing• Cable Schedules• Installation Details• As-Built Documentation• Design and drafting hook up drawings• Undertaking site visits for data collection purposes and reporting on site queries to Lead Engineer• Provide inputs for proposal preparation purposes. Deliverables include; Preliminary Input/output Lists drawing man-hour estimations, and Preliminary Equipment List layouts.• Software Skills and Experience in SPI, AVEVA, SP3D, E3D is essential. Candidate should have atleast minimum 2 software experience amongst the 4 software mentioned. Knowledge with PDMS, AutoCAD, Microstation.• Produce drawings/installation design with Specialist Engineers and senior designers' inputs according to project schedule and contractual requirements.• Uphold standards of quality, applicable codes and project & industry standards and practices.• Apply standards of CAD software used.• Ensures the accuracy of the material take off.

LOOKING FOR E3D, SP3D DESIGN ENGINEEROFFSHORE/ ONSHORE OIL AND GAS EXPERIENCE

Duties and responsibilities include:• Creating electrical diagrams and technical drawings for electrical systems• Using specialized design and drawing software to create electrical system designs• Collaborating with project managers and other engineers to design, implement, and improve electrical systems• Conducting research and development activities to come up with new design ideas and technologies• Testing and validating electrical systems to ensure they meet design specifications and safety standards• Performing detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications• Overseeing the installation and operation of electrical systems to ensure they function as designed• Identifying and resolving design and implementation issues• Preparing and presenting technical reports and documentation• Staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends in electrical engineering• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards

Electrical E3D DesignerPosition: Electrical E3D DesignerExperience: 14+ years in Oil & Gas ProjectsLocation: Abu DhabiKey Responsibilities:Create detailed electrical designs using Smart Plant 3D, PDMS, PDS, and Aveva E3D.Generate and review drawings using E3D Draw/Draft, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.Work independently to deliver high-quality designs on time.Education:Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.Qualifications:Expertise in 3D modeling tools and industry standards.Proven experience in O&G electrical design.

The E3D Piping Engineer will be responsible for:Design and Documentation:Writing Piping Design Basis, PMS, and technical purchase specifications.Preparing equipment layouts, piping layouts, GADs, isometrics, nozzle orientations, and pipe supports.Generating MTO/BOM and conducting stress analysis.Supplier and Technical Coordination:Participating in technical alignment and reviewing supplier offers.Issuing technical comparison tables and validating supplier technical documents.Reviewing valves lists and validating process data in collaboration with the process team.Client and Regulatory Compliance:Reviewing client design basis, applicable codes and standards, and incorporating local regulations.Ensuring compliance with HSE requirements in piping design.Project Collaboration:Managing engineering sub-contractors, defining RFQ packages, and evaluating subcontractor performance.Participating in meetings with clients, PMC, vendors, and internal teams.Leading weekly piping discipline meetings and contributing to in-house project reviews.3D Modelling ExpertiseProficient in 3D modelling processes, tools, and procedures.Reviewing 3D models for compliance with client specifications and ensuring maintenance and accessibility of equipment, piping, and instruments.
