Senior Road Safety Engineer shall be responsible for preparing, reviewing and approving traffic management plans and traffic diversions including designs, details and working drawings. Perform road safety audits and follow up on corrective actions and closures.To ensure compliance with PWA’s objectives, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. Lead, manage, guide and motivate team members to deliver ROMD objectives, ensure they work safely and comply with all company policies, procedures and regulations and provide technical expertise and knowledge when required.Interface with company representatives and government authorities to address traffic and transportation safety improvements in the Eastern Province.Ensures, in accordance with PWA guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing.Coordinate the compliance of the Project Non-Conformance and conduct Incident Investigation.To act as a technical lead to various traffic safety engineering related work tasks. Supervise Contractor’s works to achieve and maintain required construction, operation and maintenance in accordance with the contract documents.Review Contractor’s submissions and workmanship relating to Mechanical Engineering matters to achieve electrical deliverables under the Project.Review mechanical drawings, reports, specification and ensure its compliance with design requirements, contracts requirements, ensuring proper coordination with other disciplines.Do constructability reviews during the Design and Construction stages.Liaise with the Design Engineer on modifications and provide support to Resident Engineer to ensure projects run smoothly by providing expert knowledge and advice.Support team in review and comment on relevant MS, QCP, ITP, and records as submitted by Contractor and ensure its compliance with contractual requirements.Participate in reviewing field design changes as submitted by Contractor.Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions.Attend technical meeting with Contractor / Client, and weekly progress meetings with Resident Engineer.Maintains and prepares a variety of records including daily weekly progress reports or as directed by Team Lead ensuring that responses to Contractor’s submittals are complete and in compliance with the contract documents.Inspect the quality of work against approved shop drawings and approved materials in accordance with approved method statements.Raise site observations and nonconformance reports where works are faulty or non-compliant with the Contract.Maintain progress records for tracking progress versus program.

Role 1 - Electrical InspectorRole 2 - Civil Inspector (Roads Inspector)Ensure that any activity offered for inspection has an approved shop drawing, Method Statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), and that the latest version of the applicable document is available at point of use.Carry out all planned site inspections as per the intervention points marked in the relevant ITP.All site inspection shall be carried out vise an official Inspection and Test Request (ITR) submitted by the Contractor through the proper channels. Inspection status shall be recorded in the ITR and any relevant check sheet as per the approved QCP. Any outstanding items shall be verified prior to closing the ITR.Monitor compliance with regulations, make an initial inspection during the first phase of construction and follow up with further inspections throughout the construction project.Coordinate with the Surveyors to check the line and grade of ready work and completed work for conformance with the plans and specifications.Maintain detailed records of work performed by the contractor in case the work isperformed on a Day Works basis. Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Assistant Resident Engineer and the project safety representativesEnsure that the relevant records are effectively and adequately used and signed of the following site inspection activity.Make sure that any non-conformity has been reported through a Non-conformity Report (NCR), reviewed by the Construction supervisor or Construction Manager.Review the relevant As-Built drawings as submitted by Contractor and make sure that all site conditions are properly addressed.Act in a professional way but firm in dealings with the Contractor
