Job Overview

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the growth, performance, and profitability of the company. Their primary responsibility will be to drive operational excellence, strategize for long-term goals, lead business development efforts, manage costs, and build essential external relationships. Additionally, they will collaborate closely with the corporate office team on various strategic matters and focus on nurturing talent within the organization.


Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Create a vision for long-term growth aligned with the company’s aspirations and market trends.
  • Identify core competencies and strategic adjacencies to ensure sustainable growth.

Commercial Leadership:

  • Take ultimate responsibility for business development activities, including contract acquisition and tender negotiations.
  • Drive efforts to expand the company's client base and revenue streams.

Operational Excellence:

  • Design and implement process planning to optimize operational efficiency in pharmaceutical, food, and nutrition sectors.
  • Lead the development of key performance metrics and process improvements.

Organizational Efficiency:

  • Design and refine the organizational structure to optimize efficiency.
  • Evaluate operational and capital expenditures to determine the most effective course of action.
  • Renegotiate contracts during renewal periods to maximize cost-effectiveness.

External Partnerships:

  • Periodically visit businesses in person and maintain strong connections with top leaders across sectors and industries.
  • Leverage networking skills to identify and recruit key operational leaders for potential contracts.

Corporate Office Alignment:

  • Collaborate with the corporate office team on strategy, cost control, HR practices and cultural acclimatization
  • Keep updated with organizational values and other relevant matters.

Talent Development:

  • Formulate career development plans for key team members.
  • Develop leadership pipelines to ensure organizational growth and succession planning.
