The system has seen significant development and expansion across Saudi Arabia in the last few years, and it now has five medical cities, specialist hospitals, and numerous Primary Healthcare Centers. Established in 1983, it operates as a government-funded healthcare system within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
