1. Primary responsibility of the Culinary Chef is overseeing the operation of a Cold & Hot kitchen (semi-finished & finished) products.
2. Well experienced and having good knowledge in cooking procedures and its processing methods for cold and hot sandwiches.
3. Supervise the consistency of various preparations within the cold/ hot kitchen to ensure quality products and adherence to standard recipes of al the sandwiches and salads etc.
4. Examine the raw materials properly before preparing the required items.
5. Well experienced in choosing, preparing, and presenting cold & hot foods, such as sandwiches, salads, dressings, meals etc.
6. Ability of knife skills - cutting, chopping, carving and dicing etc.
7. Knowing how to calculate required raw materials for the preparation of any specific items.
8. Ability to plan the day-to-day production with lean manufacturing method will be highly appreciated.
9. Having the capability to maintain the uniformity in the existing products.
10. Ensures that finished products are prepared by following SOPs/ Food Safety Standards and store at required temperature as per the nature of the items.
11. Ensuring that raw materials are stored at required temperatures.
12. Cooperates with the Senior Chef in New Products Development and improvement.
13. Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food handlers.
14. Familiar how to modify the scratch recipe to prepare a required finished product.
15. Monitors waste and controlled production, as well as utilizes leftovers, ensures proper rotation and quality control.
16. Ensuring that labels and Production/ Expiry dates on all the products are mentioned properly on daily basis.
17. Keeping all refrigeration, equipment, storage and working areas in clean, working condition in order to comply with health department regulations and hygienic standards.
18. Handling administrative tasks also and follow the instructions of HOD Production Department.
19. Great teamwork skills and having positive outlook.
20. Performs all other job related duties as required by the Production Management.
