Job Purpose:

The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing production planning, ensuring smooth workflow, and coordinating with various teams to meet project requirements.

Job Description:

● Receive and review drawing packages and requisitions.

● Organize and update the planning database for accessibility.

● Assist in preparing monthly shop plans based on project requirements.

● Allocate fabrication drawings among fabrication bays as per the production plan.

● Monitor production progress, ensuring adherence to the plan and initiating corrective actions when necessary.

● Document changes in fabrication drawings and requirements through change orders.

● Coordinate with internal teams for shop floor activities, including drawing queries, material supply, and site requirements.

● Forecast raw materials requirements and ensure timely availability.

● Prepare nesting plans and material requisitions for CNC shop and material control.

● Maintain records on raw material status and optimize usage to minimize waste.

● Ensure quality control, safety, and process improvements in production.

● Plan and optimize daily production schedules.

● Submit reports to top management regularly.

● Address technical clarifications and ensure compliance with project specifications.
