Job Purpose:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for managing and supervising on-site activities, ensuring that construction projects are executed as per approved drawings, safety protocols, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Job Description:

● Manage daily site activities, including supervising the labor force and subcontractors.

● Ensure that all materials used and work performed comply with project specifications.

● Oversee the selection and requisition of required materials.

● Monitor and interpret designs and drawings provided by the client.

● Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, and quantity surveyors.

● Plan and organize site facilities efficiently to meet project deadlines.

● Oversee quality control and health & safety compliance on-site.

● Prepare site reports and ensure accurate record-keeping.

● Conduct inspections to ensure work meets required quality standards.

● Provide data for variation orders and site instructions.

● Prepare technical reports, site diaries, and as-built drawings.
