Roles & Responsibilities
Create leads for the Supply Chain - Logistics business and be responsible for selling Freight Forwarding services for Imports, Exports, Customs Clearance and Transportation.
Devise marketing plans and visit potential clients on a daily basis to understand client needs, and work with operations to design tailored solutions to ensure customer success.
Liaise with the Operations teams, to effectively execute operations and resolve any challenges being faced in the process.
Accountable for meeting and exceeding agreed-upon objectives and KPIs, as well as for financial interactions with customers.
Strive to find and capitalize on profitable business prospects on a continuous basis, particularly where these may complement and improve company's entire supply chain services, including group businesses.
Desired Candidate Profile
An ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Sales experience in Transportation or Freight Forwarding, and hold a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Sales and Marketing.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Transport Operations and Freight Forwarding, and a basic knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics.
Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations and Management reports.
Problem solving, quick thinking and delivering under pressure, are other beneficial qualities for this job.
Good MS Office skills.
