Job Summary:-The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all environmental aspects of the EPC project to ensure full compliance with ADNOC's environmental standards, UAE environmental laws and regulations, and international best practices. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating environmental risks throughout the project lifecycle, from design and procurement to construction and commissioning.Key Responsibilities:-Environmental Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to ADNOC's HSE policies, standards, and procedures, with a strong focus on their comprehensive environmental guidelines.Permitting and Approvals: Prepare and secure all necessary environmental permits, licenses, and approvals from relevant authorities in coordination with ADNOC.Environmental Impact Assessment: Participate in and review Environmental Impact Assessment studies, ensuring all potential environmental and social impacts are identified and effective mitigation measures are proposed and implemented.Construction Environmental Management: Develop, implement, and maintain the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and associated procedures.Monitoring and Reporting: Conduct regular environmental inspections and audits of project sites to ensure compliance. Job PurposeThe Civil Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed civil and structural drawings for EPC ADNOC projects, in compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and engineering best practices. The role involves close coordination with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality drawings and documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and develop detailed civil, structural, and architectural drawings for EPC oil & gas projects, ensuring compliance with ADNOC and international standards.Convert conceptual designs and engineering calculations into precise 2D/3D CAD drawings.Draft GA (General Arrangement) drawings, reinforcement detailing, foundation layouts, grading plans, road layouts, and drainage systems.Update and revise drawings as per engineering markups, site instructions, and design changes.Ensure drawing accuracy, scale, dimensioning, and annotation per drafting standards.Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and revision control in line with project procedures.Coordinate with civil engineers, structural engineers, and other disciplines to resolve drawing-related issues.Support the preparation of as-built drawings for final project handover.Follow ADNOC HSE and quality guidelines during all drafting and documentation work.

Examine drawings, specification, and method statement to define and understand construction criteria.Conduct required inspection and testing activities according to relevant inspection and test plans, and coordinate with Consultant.Prepare daily Quality Control Report and follow up on actions required with relevant Section Engineer.Coordinate with Section Engineer for daily Inspection schedule.Submit MIR to Consultant and perform joint inspection.Maintain Quality Records for inspection and test activities.

Ensure work carried out on site in accordance with latest approved drawing and specification, construction programme, method statements and resolve any technical site related issues.Overall supervision and coordination of General Foremen and Site Engineers areas of responsibilities and allocation of work areas, manpower, material, equipment etc. Follow-up to ensure execution of work is carried out in accordance with approved method statements.Completing all necessary QA documentation related to work and co-ordinate with Project QA Manager / Engineer for daily site inspections.Prepare required site reports and submit to Construction Manager in timely manner.Coordination of different Subcontractors work and perform regular inspection of work done to ensure compliance with specified requirements, compliance with schedule, ensure sufficient and competent resources are available. Report any trends for delays to Construction Manager.Maintain at all time site diary, recording daily site activities and any circumstances that have adverse effect on the Project.Ensures that all his subordinates and related subcontractors are using all latest approved shop drawings and submittalsGives instructions for keeping his accepted materials stored as required and in designated areas.Coordinates with the site safety officer and implements safety regulations on site.Participates in the handing over process.

Take an active role in site safety management and ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.To work closely with safety representative from the supervising consultants, subcontractors and vendors.Communicate and reporting safety performance to line management.To monitor observation of site safety rules by project team members, subcontractors and vendors to prevent accidents / incidents and where necessary issue warnings to those who do not abide by the HSE policy for rectification purposes in case of non-compliance and unsatisfactory safety performances.
