Data Network Engineer is required to provide support services to AFT’s AMC customers and on-site.

This position operates within the context of Data Network, Infrastructure, Wi-Fi and Security Solutions. Job seeker must be trained and certified on various solutions of Alcatel Lucent Enterprise, CISCO, Fortinet, HP, or similar. Engineer will be part of the technical support team. Job seeker must have excellent hands-on experience to perform the job..

What you will do:

Impart Post-sales technical support as per SLA signed with customers.

Key accountabilities

  • Implementation of Data Network and ICT solutions in co-ordination with customers, principals, service providers, and business partners to ensure implementation meets design parameters.
  • Monitoring and maintaining enterprise level network hardware and applications at customer premises.
  • Advanced Diagnostics and monitoring of Data Network Infrastructure Solutions.
  • Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Configuring and installing routers, Aruba & Cisco wireless controllers & switches, firewalls, load balancers.
  • Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Incident Management (Break/fix) activities including, but not limited to:
  • Determining best means to get system back up and running to original specifications.
  • Coordinating the repair/replacement of failed equipment.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of relevant system technologies.
  • Attending service requests, preventive maintenance health checks.
  • Perform change management activities.
  • Ensure the committed timelines are met for the projects at customer sites within the agreed scope, cost, and quality.
  • Training to customers on system usage.
  • Prioritizing workload to maximize productivity and minimize customer downtime.
