We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide accurate financial reporting. The role requires proficiency in accounting software, a strong understanding of UAE financial regulations, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Records and Transactions

Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

Post journal entries and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.

Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

Accounts Payable and Receivable

Process supplier invoices and payments.

Prepare and send customer invoices and follow up on collections.

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.

VAT Compliance

Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE VAT laws.

Monitor VAT transactions and ensure proper documentation.

Payroll Management

Calculate employee salaries and process payroll.

Ensure compliance with WPS (Wage Protection System) regulations.

Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.

Audits and Compliance

Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.

Miscellaneous

Assist in cost analysis and expense tracking.

Recommend process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
