Coordinates between the Service Reception and Workshop.
• Conducts effective and efficient planning, monitoring and control of workshop load according to workshop capacity
• Communicates the job priorities with Workshop Supervisors and allocates them appropriately to the technicians. (Giving priorities to Appointment, Scheduled Delivery and VIP customers).
• Determines the entire workshop capacity at all times and grasp the remaining available hours.
• Deploys appropriate job allocations to technicians based on their training and skills.
• Monitors the actual work in progress of all technicians and update records of job allocation status, accordingly.
• Monitors allowed time vs. actual time taken for the work.
• Inputs man-hours data FRT for the purpose of Job costing.
• Conveying the available man-hours to the Service Reception to assist in Workshop loading.
• Informs the Service Advisor of any delay in completion of work, actual job status, any additional work or lost time in a timely manner.
• Guarantees job completion with respect to the promised delivery.
• Follows up with the Parts Department for parts availability.
• Reports disciplinary issues to the VAS Supervisor and VAS Manager.
• Conducts the data entry of F1 (Fix it right the first time) and reporting the same on the weekly and monthly report (Technician by Job Type report)
